Youth Group Service Project  – Save May 17

They'll be back by 3:30

The youth group will meet at 12:30pm in Baxter Hall on May 17 for lunch together. Then they will head out to do yard work for elderly neighbors who are part of Capitol Hill Village.

New Policy on Transition from the Nursery into Sunday School

April 25, 2026

Our Sunday School classrooms are based on grade level not age level. In order to bring the nursery in alignment with Sunday School, our Nursery Director, Deborah Cunningham, and our Children, Youth and Family Ministry Director, Lisa Ramish, have decided to have kids transition out of the nursery when they start preK-3 in September rather than transitioning simply because they turn three years old.

4th+5th Service and Social Justice Club

This club for 4th and 5th graders will have its next meeting in the Adams room right after Sunday School on Sunday, April 26.

Pupatella Pizzeria (301 Massachusetts Ave NE) will be giving 20% of both dine-in and take-out sales on Sunday, May 3rd, to the HS Pilgrimage.

St. Mark’s Easter Egg Hunt 

Individually wrapped, nut-free candy or other small treats (like a coin or sticker)

Kids… The annual St. Mark’s Easter Egg Hunt is on for Easter Sunday, April 5, in the courtyard! Parents…Please help by bringing 10 pre-filled plastic eggs per child. CYFM will hide the eggs during Sunday School.

The 4th and 5th grade SSJ Club invites the congregation to gather on the lawn of the National Cathedral to fill 500 Easter eggs for donation to Friendship Place, a shelter that houses families with children.
