Learning happens spontaneously at St. Mark’s in our life together as a community, as well as in planned and facilitated classes, study groups, in Sermon Seminar, and also on retreats and service trips. We learn when we listen to one another. We learn when we open our doors and extend hospitality to strangers, visitors, and pilgrims from faraway places.
Because St. Mark’s tends to attract people who are generally curious, interested (as well as interesting) and invigorated rather than threatened by new ideas and different perspectives, learning is seen as a way of opening our lives, minds, and hearts to new possibilities. It sometimes gets messy, but it never breaks the bonds of caring and sharing as a community. In fact, it strengthens us. What follows, are resources for individual and shared learning experiences at St. Mark’s.
Come, join us, and be part of this learning community!
