Music Studio

The St. Mark’s Music Studio currently offers voice and piano lessons to students of all ages and levels of experience.

Soprano Diane Atherton has extensive professional experience performing as a soloist and with a variety of choirs. She teaches on Mondays. Learn more about Diane on her website.

Sasha Beresovsky holds a masters degree in piano performance from Indiana University. He taught piano at IU as an associate instructor and also worked with students of all ages at a community music school in Boston for a time. He has a variety of performance and teaching experience. Anh Nguyen is currently pursuing her doctorate in piano performance from George Mason University. From Vietnam, Anh has experience playing at churches in Ho Chi Minh City and Manhattan. She has taught piano in a variety of contexts over the past ten years. Watch and hear her play here and here.

Jeff Kempskie, St. Mark’s Director of Music, has played piano professionally for 22 years in a variety of contexts – churches, jazz ensembles, musical theater productions, a rock band, and as an accompanist for choirs from elementary school through the college level. He enjoys working with people of all ages and ability levels in his small studio. Read Jeff’s bio here. Please note that Jeff does not have any openings at this time.
