Thanks to the Choir for A “Proper English Sunday Lunch”
Oct. 26th. Wow! The choir pulled off a veritable feast last Sunday, with wonderful sides and desserts served to a crowd of 67! About 18 choir members chipped in to cook, donate food, serve, share travel experiences, set up, and clean up. Thanks especially to choir president Laura Gladstone for her presentation on the choir’s tour to England (Lichfield Cathedral, etc.) and to chief chef and coordinator Karen Wiedemann, who cooked the perfectly roasted beef, mashed potatoes, and Yorkshire Pudding. Thanks also go to Marge Ware for opening the pub window.
The choir regrets that they were unable to share recordings of their Evensong music on the tour due to technical difficulties. Still, you can get a similar experience by coming to the Advent Lessons and Carols Service on Sunday, December 10th! Mark your calendars.
