Kitchen Confidential – Part One

We're all in this together!
It has come to our attention that many may not understand that the custodial staff do not clean the
kitchen. That is our communal responsibility.

So, if you use the kitchen or anything in it …

i.e., whether cooking a meal, using a tray for snacks, or keeping something in one of the fridges – you
are responsible for washing it and putting it back, consuming it, or throwing it away. If you
bring food in, please dispose of any leftovers. If you put something in the fridge or freezer for
future use, please put a name and date on it. There will be magnetic pencils and sticky notes on
the fridge for that purpose. Food not marked will be thrown out.
