Join us for Community engagement with Navajoland Visitors!
The wider community will have several opportunities to be with our visitors, so please mark your calendars:
–This Sunday, July 21, we will be welcoming our guests at the 11:15 service (they will be arriving at their host homes around midnight on Saturday). Last week, during Sunday School we made welcome cards that will be presented at the beginning of the 11:15 service. If your child would like to deliver a card in person, please plan to stick around!
–On Saturday, July 27, at 6:30PM, we will have a community pot-luck gathering in Baxter Hall. After eating together, we will excuse the teens and younger children for a game night and activities.
–Next Sunday, July 28, we will welcome our visitors to the 9AM service. At 10am in the sermon seminar time slot we’ll have a special Community Forum focused on our growing relationship with St. Christopher’s. We will also be presenting them with a book of a Navajo prayer illustrated by our Sunday School children.We are also continuing to accept donations for this trip.
