HerStory: A Classical Reflection on the Feminine Experience
St. Mark’s sopranos Rebecca Stauber, Marjorie Wellman, and Katherine Buchanan, accompanied by Jeff Kempskie, will perform a collection of pieces from 19th and 20th composers on the experiences and perspectives of women from youth to wise, old age—including works by Leonard Bernstein, Samuel Barber, Léo Delibes, and George Gershwin.
While the concert is free, you are invited to make donations to Lambda Legal as we honor the right of all women—no matter the sex they were assigned at birth—to celebrate the shared and beautifully diverse experience of womanhood. Reception to follow.
