Hearty Thanks to “Team Fairfield”

Fairfield Butt’s family was deeply touched by the love they felt for Fairfield and for themselves at the celebration of his life on January 27.

Many thanks to all those who made the service so uplifting: Rev. Chris Phillips for officiating, Rev. Patricia Catalano for her moving homily, Josie Jordan for verging, Mitch Wood for greeting people, and Jeff Kempskie and the choir for the incomparable music. Thanks also to Penny Farley for providing the beautiful flowers and to Mary Neznek for helping her arrange them.

Thanks go to the Butt and Edson families for the delicious food and drink at the reception and to all those who helped with set-up, serving, or clean-up, including Jan Lipscomb, Margie Ware, Bill and Josie Jordan, Charlie Rupp, Pat Latin, Judy Smith, and — above all — the tireless Donna Sabino, Maureen Shea, and Kenn Allen.
