Have You Visited the Bill Baxter Exhibit?

Closes in January

Bill was our 9th Rector and is the one credited with saving our beloved church from closure and destruction. His life and work are a remarkable story. In recognition of the centenary of his birth, the Archives and Parish History Committee has staged a major exhibit on his life and work, appropriately enough in Baxter Hall. It will be up into January so please drop by on Sunday or any time and take a look. Fair warning: It is designed to be read so take your time, do it in manageable bites, and learn more about the rebirth that led to today’s St. Mark’s. Free copies of Building Church, Bill’s oral history, are available on the piano in Baxter Hall. The committee: Kenn Allen, Doris Burton, Mary Cooper.
