Fall 2023 Music Events at St. Mark’s
The 21st Century Consort will perform at St. Mark’s on Saturday, September 16, at 5 pm. Pre-concert discussion in Baxter Hall at 4 pm. Free.
The Chiarina Chamber Players will open their 2023-24 season with a Concerto Celebration featuring music by Mozart, Beethoven, and Prokofiev on Sunday, September 17, at 7:30 pm. Tickets: $30.
Matchstick Percussion will launch their season on Saturday, September 23, at 7 pm. Tickets $16.50. A reception will follow the event. This Maryland-based percussion quartet is dedicated to new music and helping to grow the percussion repertoire, with an emphasis on building equitable and diverse relations within the music community. The Washington Bach Consort resumes its Noontime Cantata Series with a performance of a Bach cantata on Monday, October 2. Organ prelude begins at 12:10 pm, and the concert finishes by 1 pm. Free!
