Dozier Library: status of the collection, accessibility

Accessible weekends and evenings, reserved for repairs weekdays during working hours

Recent heavy rain has damaged part of the wall in the library, requiring us to remove the bookcases housing the books for children and young adults. The books were not damaged; they are being safely stored until the repairs are finished and the bookcases can be re-installed.

  • The room will be inaccessible on weekdays while work is underway.
  • It will be available evenings and weekends for those who wish to meet there or to check out books from the adult collection.
  • The box for those returning books is on the large wooden cabinet, just to the left of the entrance, along with the Sign-Out binder where borrowers should indicate the date of return.
  • As soon as the children’s collection is back in place, a notice will be posted in the Announcements.
