The Deserving Book Talk – with Liz Vartkessian

Join Elizabeth Vartkessian to discuss her new book, The Deserving, and the role we all play in creating a more humane and just world. Founder and director of nonprofit mitigation team Advancing Real Change, Inc., Dr. Vartkessian works with criminal defense teams as a mitigation specialist.

Incarceration Justice – Community Art Workshop! 

Saturday, April 11 from noon to 3 p.m.

Returned Citizen artists will demonstrate their work and lead all of us in a community art project.

Next Incarceration Justice Meeting

February 28, 2026

Our next Incarceration Justice meeting will be on Tuesday, March 10, both in person in Baxter Hall at 7:30pm and online! We will follow up on planning for our upcoming Arts Workshop, featuring returned citizen artists and supporters. Note this meeting is a half-hour later than usual.
