Bring Those Wrapped Utensils to Church
Take out and delivery sometimes comes with plastic utensils and condiments that I don’t need. I’ve learned that apps often allow you to decline them or you can remove from bag at pickup. It helps often small restaurants bottom line as well as the earth. When I do get them, I take them to Shepherd’s Table in Silver Spring (8106 Georgia Avenue), which collects wrapped utensils and straws and sealed condiments.
