Vestry Notes from Randy Marks, Vestry Clerk

The next Vestry meeting will be held Tuesday, March 22, at 7 PM, in person and via Zoom
The Vestry’s March 25 meeting approved minor changes to the Parish budget.

Reports included:

–  The need for new approaches to announcements, the Vestry welcome, and the balance between safety and being welcoming.
–  The work of the vibrant Membership Committee, including a new brochure and the 4th Sunday Coffee and Connections discussions between services.
–  The reorganization of the Worship Committee under new Chair Nick Rogers.
The primary discussion was on how to do a strategic planning/visioning exercise with three emerging approaches: better coordination among Parish programs, developing a common vision and plan and helping members discern their own wants as part of the effort to develop a plan. The Vestry will discuss how to proceed in April.
