Return of Sunday Lunch!
Do You miss the fellowship of Sunday lunch? You can help make this gathering (now monthly) happen! Sign up now for March or April. The sign-up sheet is in the foyer/hallway.
The next monthly lunch will be on Sunday, Feb. 4, following the 11:15 am service.
Sunday Lunch (formerly pub lunch) is coming back! We will start with monthly lunches, usually on the second Sunday of each month. In February, that coincides with the Annual Meeting, when the vestry traditionally provides a quick lunch. The Wednesday Bible Group has volunteered to do lunch on Sunday, May 12, Mother’s Day.
We are now looking for volunteers to organize the lunches in March and April. Ask your class or group of 3 or more friends (it could be a class or a group of folks with March or April birthdays) to join you to make this easy for shopping, prep, serving, and clean-up. No need to cook from scratch unless you are so inclined. Costco has plenty of pre-made, delicious options (e.g., shepherd’s pie, chicken pot pie, quiche, chicken salad, chili, soups, salad greens, and vegan items).
