2020 Canvass Theme: Planting Seeds

Planning the Garden and Planting Seeds

The following is a reprint/update of Michele’s message in the e-Gospel of Friday, October 11, 2019.

Happy Fall!  It is a time of cooler weather, long pants, pumpkin spice everything and the fall annual pledge campaign. We are in the kick-off of our campaign which is Planning the Garden and Planting Seeds. The generous planting of seeds always bears fruit. Because of seeds that St. Mark’s has planted, we are now able to nurture life-giving, joyful ministries focused both inside and outside of our parish walls.

Even while many of our ministries have existed for decades, we continually breathe new life into them: our innovative worship, music ministry, Christian education, Small Groups, Outreach.

This year’s Annual Giving theme, Planting Seeds, reminds us that our financial support, in the form of a pledge to the Operating Budget, not only helps to further the current mission and ministries of St Mark’s, but also to ensure the future work of our church.

We had three town halls on Sunday, October 6. Here is the presentation with more information about The Annual Canvass for the Year 2020.

Online pledging has already begun! Join in, now with this online pledge form for 2020.
