Volunteer Opportunities @ Samaritan Ministry

Time commitments vary from 1 to 4 hours one or two days a week.

Volunteers enable staff at the Ministry’s offices in Northwest DC, Southeast DC, and Arlington to serve more individuals. “Front office coordinators” staff the reception desk, welcome visitors, and introduce them to Samaritan Ministry’s “Next Step” program. “Casework associates” assist lead caseworkers in supporting Next Step participants. “Academic tutors” and “digital literacy trainers” provide basic education in language arts, math, and computer skills.

Time commitments vary from 1 to 4 hours one or two days a week.
