Seeking Committee Members for Friends of Palestinian Detainees Pilot Partnership
St. Marks was selected by Friends of Sabeel North America for a new pilot project that pairs congregations with a family of a Palestinian political prisoner who has been unjustly detained in Israeli prisons (i.e., imprisoned without trial and access to family contact). We’re forming a small committee for the partnership whose tasks will be to get to know the family, hear their stories, and advocate where we can to support them. We need 2-3 more volunteers.
