Now is the Time to Order Palestinian Olive Oil
Palestinian Olive Oil is once again available, and NOW is the time to place your order. The two most popular varieties, Al-Ard EVOO (Extra Virgin Organic; mild, smooth oil) & Canaan Rumi (“zesty,” with a peppery finish), are available in 1/2-liter bottles for $30. Order bottles individually or a case of 6 bottles for $180. Our price is the same as last season and still quite competitive, with a percentage included to support critical humanitarian work in Gaza and the W. Bank. The two cooperatives we support, Canaan and Al-Ard, produce extremely high-quality, extra virgin, organic oil. Under the Palestine Fair Trade program, the oil must come from indigenous trees and be produced using traditional, natural cultivation methods.
You can place orders online now through November 20. Ordering online lets you pay directly (by credit card or bank transfer), simplifying bookkeeping for you and St. Mark’s. Order early to ensure availability. You can pick up paid orders on Sunday, November 22 or December 13 from 10 am – 1 pm.
