Me and My Chosen Family – New Dates
*New Dates* Sundays, June 8, 15, and 22, 6 – 8 pm
A chosen family describes the close relationships and connections formed outside our biological family. Are you drawn to the idea of a chosen family? What might carry over from your experience with your original family that may or may not serve you well? What can the many stories of families and alliances in the Bible tell us about what we might consider in forming these kinds of kinships?
Creating this bond, navigating the inherent challenges, and examining how we might be changed by the experience will be the subject of a 3-session Christian Education class offered on consecutive Sundays starting Sunday, June 8. We will meet from 6 – 8 pm (after the 5 pm service) and share a simple potluck meal.
