Let’s work together to support our migrant community!
In the past few years, St. Mark’s has supported refugees and migrants in the DMV, partnering with other social agencies, nonprofits and faith communities. In the light of news stories about possible actions from the incoming administration such as workplace raids and mass deportation, we affirm our commitment to the safety and wellbeing of all migrants and refugees, including recent arrivals. Supporting the stranger in the land is a tenet of our faith.
Next Tuesday, November 26, members and leaders at St. Mark’s will attend a Mass Meeting / Asamblea General held by the Congregation Action Network from 6-8pm at Foundry United Methodist 1500 16th St NW, Washington, DC 20036.
