Honoring Verna Dozier
Virginia Theological Seminary will honor Verna Dozier at a symposium September 24 featuring former Presiding Bishop Michael Curry and other Episcopal leaders discussing her life and ministry. Verna was a nationally recognized Episcopal theologian, author, and teacher, and, from 1955 until her death in 2006, a beloved member of St. Mark’s. The symposium begins at 1:00 and will conclude with a Commemorative Eucharist at 5:15.
