DC bill to lower utility bills and create a healthier environment

The Healthy Homes Act provides free energy-efficient upgrades for low to moderate-income residents, leading to lower utility bills and a healthier environment.  Join us to advocate for an implementation plan that prioritizes:

  • Fair wages for contractors through prevailing wages;
  • Investing in our community with local hiring and apprenticeship programs;
  • Keeping housing affordable through rent caps for participating buildings.
