Gratitude for Palestinian Olive Oil Purchases

Belated thanks to all who bought Palestinian Olive Oil during Advent. St. Mark’s purchased 293 bottles of olive oil contributing $8,790 to the fund for Humanitarian Support of Gaza. Our supplies come from a group at Westmoreland Congregational Church who manage Palestinian olive oil sales to a network of 33 churches in the DMV.  St. Mark’s sold more than any of the other churches.  The great news is that the Olive Oil Ministry grossed sales of $90,000 worth of product this year which enables them to send $36,000 to humanitarian work in Gaza.
