Devastation in Gaza and the West Bank makes this most urgent

On Maundy Thursday and Good Friday, we will join other Episcopal Churches raising funds to support Episcopal humanitarian institutions in the Holy Land. This year that effort has greater urgency than ever given the devastation in Gaza and the West Bank.

This is one story from St. Luke’s Hospital in Nablus, the West Bank, where 40% of the patients have no health insurance.

Muna was in active labor. She and her husband waited 3 hours at an army checkpoint to reach the hospital. Instead, the baby was born in the car. He received critical care in the neonatal unit and Muna was placed in the ICU suffering from severe bleeding. Muna and her son are recovering, but her husband has lost his job. American Friends of the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem paid for their hospital costs.

Donations will be made by cash, check or online via QR code.
