Election Eve Candlelight Vigils for Democracy, Peace, and Hope
On the evening before the mid-term election, all are invited to help shine a light for democracy, peace and hope at any one of the candlelight vigil sites. Anchored by houses of worship across the city, these positive, non-partisan vigils are open to all people and all ages.
As DC’s “corridor of faith,” with nearly 50 houses of worship, there is a particular emphasis on 16th Street NW.
