Doing Well by Doing Good, Lawyer Edition
Rosemary Harold, our current Vestry Counsel, will be stepping down in February 2026, but she would like to help the parish identify candidates to succeed her. This pro bono lawyer gig is a good one (and sometimes downright entertaining), as Rosemary would be happy to explain over a cup of coffee or glass of wine on her dime. Specialization in a particular area of law is irrelevant; the only requirements are a law school diploma and membership in good standing of any state bar or the DC Bar.
Rosemary or her husband, Michael Knipe, have served as Vestry Counsel collectively for more than 15 years, and both would be happy to advise the new Counsel as issues arise. Talking with Rosemary is not a commitment to take the post on–it is simply an informational opportunity.
Interested lawyers should contact Rosemary at (202) 422-2166 or counsel[at]stmarks.net.
