Samaritan Ministries Activities Today

After Sunday School on the 21st, we invite parents and children to join us in Baxter Hall to make “take-away” snack bags for the men and women who turn to the Ministry for assistance.  Including a note of encouragement or a cheerful drawing always lifts their spirits!

After the 11:15 service, stay for a delicious lunch, learn about the Ministry’s successful “Next Step” methodology, and hear briefly from Dr. Cheryl Mercer, who directs its job readiness training program. 

Please note: because the church no longer subsidizes Sunday lunches, there will be a $5 charge per person to cover at least part of the cost.  It’s still a bargain as a source of nourishment for body, mind, and hopeful hearts in hard times!
