Healthy Homes Public Forum:

 This spring, we celebrated a significant victory with the passage of the Healthy Homes Act! This act provides free energy-efficient upgrades for low to moderate-income residents, leading to lower utility bills and a healthier environment. However, the fight doesn’t stop there.

Advocate for a strong implementation plan that prioritizes:

  • Fair wages for contractors through prevailing wages.
  • Investing in our community with local hiring and apprenticeship programs.
  • Keeping housing affordable through rent caps for participating buildings.
