Celebrate the centenary of the birth of the Rev. William Baxter
At all three services, we will celebrate the life of our 9th Rector, 1954-1966, who is appropriately credited with saving St. Mark’s from closure, revitalizing our community, and beginning the work that has sustained us ever since. We will reflect on his work in our worship, in the sermon, and in the launch of a special major exhibit on his life and work.
Join us for lunch and program after the 11:15 service to hear from parishioners who were here when Bill was. His daughter, Grae, will be with us for the Sermon Seminar and the lunch program.
We invite you to our exhibit on Rev. Bill Baxter in Baxter Hall. Later this winter, the photos of our rectors, this summer’s exhibit, will be installed in the Rector’s Room. – The Archives and Parish History Committee
