Fall Baptism Course for Parents
Sign up now for this class designed for parents who wish to present their child for baptism.
The course is a facilitated discussion to explore issues posed by the Liturgy of Baptism as well as an introduction to the resources and opportunities found in St. Mark’s Youth and Family Ministry program. (Adult candidates for baptism should contact the church office to meet with clergy.)
Parents should meet with the clergy and schedule a baptism date; please contact Rev. Michele Morgan. Any of the three services are available most Sundays. A form must be completed for the church office, as well, so the name of the child and their parents can be included in the service bulletin for the baptism date.
Dates: Thursdays, 10/7, 10/14, with optional in-person get-together after church on Sunday, 10/24
Time: Evening time TBD depending on what time works best for the families.
If you are interested in taking this course, please send a message to Steve Dalzell with “Subscribe to the Baptism Course” in the subject line. Steve or the other teachers—John Edwards and Kris Humphrey—will be glad to answer any questions you may have.
