Building the Household of God Annual Stewardship Appeal
Over six weeks beginning October 20, we will discuss pledges, stewardship, the budget, and what it means to spiritually give our financial resources. We are called to be stewards of the gifts God has given us, and pledging is one way we respond to that call. The community of St. Mark’s is asking you to consider pledging again this year.
Think about the many ways that St. Mark’s touches lives—whether it’s supporting our ministries, offering a place of peace and worship, helping those in need, or providing a place for people to gather to hear music, advocate for change, dance, meditate, practice yoga, and celebrate their lives. Our diverse range of activities and services, from spiritual to social, demonstrate the need for your support, and we know that every gift helps us do more.
My wife and I have prayed, discerned, and discussed our appreciation for what St. Mark’s means in our lives and our hope for its future. Our 2025 pledge is $13,000, based on a percentage gift from our income. We increased our pledge by $2,000 [or 18%] above what we gave last year. Our pledge is a heartfelt investment to support the faith community that provides us with life.
