Class on Singing and Reading Music

Mon Oct 23 and Nov 13 | 7:30 - 9:15, Elders Room

Geared towards those with little or no formal training in music, this class will teach the basics of singing and reading music. Singing will include vocal exercises, a chant, round, and two hymns. Solfège (do re mi…) and basic music theory will be taught
in order to introduce the skill of reading music.

This class will be both challenging and fun!  Jeff Kempskie (St. Mark’s Director of Music) and Jim Prunty will co-teach. You may attend either or both classes.
