Washington Interfaith Network – Listening in Lent

During coffee hours in Lent, give the parish WIN team your input on DC issues

The 2026 Elections in DC are the most consequential in decades. For the first time, voters will use ranked choice voting. There is an unusually high number of open positions including

  • Mayor,
  • two Representatives in Congress, and
  • seven City Council members.

This election is an opportunity to shape the future of DC. The Washington Interfaith Network wants to make sure that its members’ priorities are heard and candidates are asked to respond to the needs of neighborhoods across the city.

Members of the St. Marks’ WIN Core team will be in Baxter Hall during coffee hours in Lent to learn what city issues are top of mind for you. Contact Edna Boone, ednaboon@gmail.com with questions/input.
