DC has committed to zero emissions by 2045, and the Healthy Homes Act will help 30,000 lower-income families transition to clean energy. But we need robust, reliable funding to ensure low- and moderate-income residents aren’t left behind. A Clean Heat Standard could provide that funding—lowering utility bills, making DC families healthier, and leaving a healthier planet for our children.
