A Drive in Thanks-giving for the Life of Justine Novy

Seeking gifts of Metro and grocery store cards for Samaritan Ministry

We were blessed to know Justine for what proved to be the last decade of her life. She and Mike joined St. Mark’s in 2015. As an advocate and activist for social justice, Justine felt at home here. Sadly, leukemia took her from us in June.

Now, two of her friends have organized a drive to extend her compassion further in the world. They are seeking gifts of Metro and grocery store cards for Samaritan Ministry. It will provide them to men and women developing the skills to secure jobs and housing. Transit cards will help them get to training programs and job interviews. Grocery cards will enable them to get a hot lunch on a cold day.
