Transgender Day of Remembrance Eve Vigil, Wed Nov 19, 7 pm
Please join the Lambda Lions, St. Mark’s LGBTQIA+ affinity group, for a vigil on the eve of Transgender Day of Remembrance, Wednesday, Nov. 19, at 7:00 p.m in the Nave.
Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) is an annual day dedicated to commemorating and honoring the lives of transgender, non-binary, and gender-diverse individuals who passed over the previous year as a result of anti-transgender violence, discrimination, and abuse. The vigil will consist of a selection of short readings followed by the naming of those lost, with ample time for contemplation and reflection.
