Incarceration Justice Meeting
Our next Incarceration Justice meeting will be Tuesday, September 9th at 7 pm via Zoom. Please join us to prepare and plan for the next few months. Contact incarcerationjustice[at]stmarks.net for zoom link.
We have good news!! Compassionate Release has been granted to Mr. Taylor, who was incarcerated for 28 years. He is returning home with his family. We hope that Mr. Taylor will be joining us at our meetings in the coming months as he settles back home.
In addition, we have several projects and events to plan for:
(1) Free Minds Book Club – we are hosting an in-person Write Night on October 7th, at 7 p.m. Please plan to connect with incarcerated poets through a mutual exchange of creativity, inspiration, and hope.
(2) Re-Entry Workshop planning – creating a space for returning community members to find the resources they need.
