Reports from a vibrant church

The Vestry’s April 25 meeting included:

  • Reports showing the vibrancy of the church, including three retreats, new member dinners, and an 8-10% rise in average Sunday attendance (and 676 Easter day attendees).
  • Approval of a Youth & Family Ministry fundraiser for our youth Navajoland trip. (The Vestry must approve all fundraisers to ensure they don’t undermine our annual pledge campaign.)
  • A discussion about how we hold/honor the full spectrum of the different beliefs of our members.
  • A discussion of the Vestry welcome at Sunday services.
  • A first discussion of possible By-Laws changes, most minor.
  • A continuation of our strategic planning process, focusing on questions to ask church members and other information gathering methods.
