Opportunity for Confirmation, Reception, or Reaffirmation at National Cathedral
On Saturday, May 10th, the National Cathedral will host the Spring Diocesan Confirmation Service. At this service, Bishop Budde will confirm and receive new Episcopalians from all over the diocese.
Confirmation is the profession of faith that confirms the promises of baptism and brings someone into the Episcopal Church. Reception is a similar process for those already confirmed in another denomination. Reaffirmation is to reaffirm baptism.
A class will be held at St. Mark’s on April 13 and April 27 from 1 to 2 p.m. to prepare those who wish to participate in the diocesan service. Contact Reverend Caitlin to discuss being confirmed, received, or reaffirmed.
