Help Support the High School Service Trip to Navajoland!
Our summer youth trip is back! St. Mark’s High School youth have a long tradition of connecting with people and learning about God in a context other than our own. This year we are excited to continue that with 5 days in Navajoland, spent with the community of St. Christopher’s mission! We have a team of 5 youth serving on the trip, and we need your help to make that happen! Our fundraising goal is $1350 per student to cover trip expenses for students, and hopefully to make a donation to the mission. While we know this is a large goal, we also know that we can count on the support of the St. Mark’s community.
The easiest way to do that is to buy 1 (or 2 or 10!) shares of stock in the trip. Youth will be selling trip ‘stock’ for $20 a share after each of the services during the month of June. Included in your share of stock is a postcard update from the youth hand-written while they are on the trip, and an invitation to the Service Trips Celebration lunch to hear presentations from the youth about their experience after the trip. The support of our wider St. Mark’s community means the world to our youth program. Your investment in this service trip helps oer an experience for our youth that they will remember for a lifetime.
Donations can be made with cash or check. Questions? Please email our Director of Youth and Family Ministries Caleb Nelson Amaker at youthdirector@stmarks.net or our Trip Leader Kit Arrington at kit@tulsablue.com
