Thursday Night Bible Study – The Christian Mystic Tradition

Thursday night religious study will be exploring the Christian mystic tradition, starting with four medieval English mystics:Richard Rolle and The Fire of Love, the anonymous author of The Cloud of Unknowing; Walter Hinton and The Ladder of Perfection; and ending with Dame Julian of Norwich and Revelations of Divine Love.

Our text will be Visions of God by Karen Armstrong. We hope this may become an ongoing inquiry into religious mysticism, as it is experienced in Christianity and other faith traditions.

When: Thursday evenings, 7:30-9:00 p.m.

Where: Dozier Library.

Fee: $25 contribution per semester.
