Solo Piano Recital & Painting Sale to Benefit Ukraine

Sat 7/2 | 7 pm, St. Mark's

From the wind-swept strains of Crimea to Carpathian folk tunes, to miniatures inspired by the poetry of Taras Shevchenko, Ukrainian-born pianist Sasha Beresovsky will play a program centered on the music of Ukrainian composers.

An exhibition of paintings by Russian-born artist Varvara Agabekova will take place alongside the concert.

The event takes place on Saturday, July 2, 2022, at 7 pm at St. Mark’s. Concert admission is free but donations will be accepted; 100% of recital donations and 50% of painting sales will go to United Help Ukraine, a DC-based group devoted to providing humanitarian relief for Ukraine.
