Seeking Outreach Grant Proposals

Please submit your proposal by September 30
In addition to the current missions we support through the Outreach Board, we set aside $900 to give parishioners the opportunity to develop outreach initiatives. This is your chance to receive a small grant to jumpstart a new project you believe in to benefit the larger community outside St. Mark’s walls. All ages are encouraged to apply!

Proposals are due by October 2, 2023. The Outreach Board will choose the recipient(s) in October, with the grant(s) awarded in November. Judging considerations include:

  • Are the beneficiaries involved, and do they want the proposed project?
  • What is the immediate or unmet need?
  • Can others from St. Mark’s be involved?
  • Is the proposal realistic for implementation?

Send your proposal to Leslie Allen (202-544-8399) by 9/30, including a description of the project, plan for implementation, and budget/justification for the amount requested.
