Frybread Face and Me – Film

The film will be shown at the Rasmuson Theater at the National Museum of the American Indian.

Join St. Mark’s Navajoland Initiative for the opening film in this month’s Mother Tongue Film Festival. Directed by Billy Luther (Navajo, Hopi, Laguna Pueblo), the film portrays two adolescent Navajo cousins who spend a summer herding sheep on their grandmother’s ranch in Arizona, bonding and learning more about their family’s past and themselves.
