Become a Lay Eucharistic Minister!
Lay ministry is a cornerstone of the Episcopal Church, and that is certainly true at St. Mark’s. For years, lay people at St. Mark’s have been an important part of administering the chalice during communion. We’ve been slowly bringing this ministry back.
If you’re interested in becoming a Lay Eucharistic Minister (LEM) and serving on Sundays (hopefully less that once a month!), please join us for a training on October 6 after the 11:15 service. You need to be trained to be on the roster, but if you want to be a LEM and can’t make that date, please talk to Deacon Thom.
For more information, contact Deacon Thom at deacon@stmarks.net.
