Liturgy Planning Team
On December 7th, 2010, the Liturgy Planning Team was named, to amend the title of St. Mark's Worship Planning Team. This was a response to the proposal from Rev. Paul Roberts Abernathy, who presented the attached white paper to describe the rationale for the change.
The newly-named Team, with many long-standing members, acknowledged that the Worship Committee remains the longest sitting committee In the history of St. Mark's. The Liturgy Planning Team has committed to revising our Charter, as it relates to our new name, and continued pursuit of meaningful liturgies, both traditional and novel, to incorporate into our worship services. With the change to Liturgy Planning Team, we believe the intent to share the work of the people is more fully expressed.
