Leadership at St. Mark's
St. Mark’s leadership structure reflects the complexity of our dynamic, active parish. Overall leadership is vested in the Rector and the Senior Warden. The Vestry is responsible for policy-making. Officers and committees of the Vestry have specific parish-wide management responsibilities. The Pillar Chairs are responsible for planning and implementing specific programs.
A Leadership Directory (See Related Documents below) is published as part of each year’s parish directory of members with an update issued in September, at the outset of the program year.
Elections for wardens and at-large vestry members occur at the Parish Annual Meeting which, in accord with the parish by-laws, is held on the weekend of the second, third or fourth Sunday in Lent as set annually by the Vestry.
