Our Parish Finances
St. Mark’s annual operating budget is supported entirely by pledges, plate collections and special offerings from our members and from our friends and visitors and those who use our historic facilities. If you wish to make a tax-deductible financial donation to St. Mark’s, you may do so by using Paypal (click here to go to "Donate" tab on homepage) or by check. Checks made out to St. Mark's Episcopal Church may be mailed to the parish offices at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 118 Third Street SE, Washington DC 20003. Please indicate in the memo line whether this check is for a pledge payment or a donation for a specific purpose.
The St. Mark’s Endowment
The St. Mark’s Endowment is made up of funds entrusted to the parish to support specific categories of activities. In recent years it has made several major contributions to the life and fabric of the parish – leadership in constructing the new columbarium and renovated chapel; our Race and Reconciliation initiative; the development of our new web site; and, support for the discernment phase of our preparation for a possible capital campaign.
