Nationwide Vigil and Remembrance Event to #EndGunViolence
The vigil will be held in the Nave from 7 pm to 9 pm in honor of the FIVE-YEAR MARK OF THE SANDY HOOK TRAGEDY, as well as the 500,000 American victims and survivors of gun violence since December 2012.
St. Mark’s will once again host this nationwide tribute in partnership with the Newtown Foundation, Newtown Action Alliance, Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence, Everytown Survivor Network, Faiths United to Prevent Gun Violence, Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, Organizing for Action, States United to Prevent Gun Violence, and Women’s March.
We hope you will plan to attend and help spread the word so others know about it, too.
Can you volunteer to help? Hands and hearts are still needed to welcome and care for the many visitors that travel from all corners of the country to spend December 6 and 7 on Capitol Hill. Contact Michael Knipe for details or sign-up here.
